Kitesurfing Belize is in Utila from December to August !Utila is a young boiling island, with 20 dive-shops and techno rave parties and country stile restaurants, horse riding, and lots of other activities, young people like to do. We offer kitesurfing, sailing and hobby cat sailing, Yacht charters, sunset snorkel trips and more. We actually plan on making this our main base and operate in Roatan, Utila and Puerto Cortes. Prices and conditions are everywhere the same with our schools. We practice at several locations in Utila, depending on the wind. The eastern onshore beach is a rubble beach. Booties (rubber shoes) are recommended. This is not a beach for beginners, with huge waves and rubble beach. This is a beach for advanced kiters with wave riding capabilities. 
Inside the bay we have several locations to instruct beginners on the kite. There is a knee deep bank where we finally will get the student on the board. We launch the kite directly at the public beach in front of the bar or on Bando Beach at the sand spit. In the north of the island we have a beautiful Lagoon Beach and miles of flat crystal clear knee deep water. The Lagoon is protected by a barrier reef with mostly side onshore winds. It is Robinson Crusoe Place (Rock Harbor) with nobody around for miles. Only a small channel through the Mangroves lead to this Paradise. Its perfect to kitesurf. We offer overnight camping tours and day tours to this spot. Please inquire for appointments and prices. Best winds are from April to July.
